1962 ford fairlane 500 car has a .30 351 Cleveland 10.1compresion 4v heads with roller rockers, guide plates, hardened push rods, and the bowls were cleaned up it has a isky solid cam and lifters there is around 5000 miles on the motor. The trans is a c6 built to handle 700 foot pounds floor shifter a 3200 converter with anti ballooning plates. Car is mini tubbed with a shortened 9" rear with 4:10 gears and a locker caltrac bars and brackets kyb shocks the rear wheels are 15x10 weld with a 265 50 15 it can tuck a 315 35 17 with the right offset wheel. New fuel tank with 1/2 aluminum supply line and a 3/8 aluminum return line electric pump and a return style regulator a 750 double pumper reworked by smi about $900 in the carb alone. The interior of the car has all been redone it has manual steering shock towers in the front with a crits kit to fit the Cleveland I only drive this car around 500 miles a year most of the time it sits in the garage. I got the chance to talk to the guy who restored it in the mid 90s at a local cruse night he sold it to his nephew who parked it under an awning year round and some water got down the drip rail and caused some rust bubbles and some on the quarter panel also I talked to two different body shops who both said its not a major body work project but the car could use a repaint and I just never got around to getting it done my kids are not into cars and I would love to see this car go to someone who will give it the time and attention it deserves I included pics of the rust issues I don't want to fool anybody this car still needs some work but with a fresh motor, trans, interior, and rear end the expensive parts are finished there is no reserve
