1962 Ranchero that I had just bought for a new driver. I had drove to Alabama from Texas to pick it up. When I drove it to my local mechanic he told me that as for starting and stoping were good but on the rack he had noticed quite a bit of rust that he does not work on. This will have to be addressed before the car is sound enough for my 17 year old to drive and I, and he, are not looking in to making that type of investment so here it is. There are so many things a person can do with this from repairs enough go make it sound to a full restoration. This is also a perfect foundation for a crazy street rod.   Like I said it starts, stops, turn signals, brake lights, headlights, radio, all work. If I had more time and didn't have other car and motorcycle projects we were working on and maybe if he were still 15 and going to be driving down the road it would be a different story but he's ready go now and the cars not.   Got to find something else.   Bid to own. We checked the serial number with the data base and the car came up clean. Wanted to make sure this was on the listing.eBay didn't give that option.
