Vehicle is located in Lake City Florida. Needs a good home. Number 770 of 1000 of these were ever made. Photos are from a couple of years ago. The Fiat has been parked on a trailer under a carport and cover for the last 3 years. It looks the same except for dust and mildew that has accumulated. I used to drive this off and on during the weekends just for fun. Strong engine and always a head turner. People are always asking what it is. Battery is dead. The Fiat ran when I last parked it but I am certain it will not start without some finagling. For the purposes here, consider it NOT RUNNING but can be made running with a little effort. This is somewhat of a project car because it has been sitting for so long. The tires still have tread and hold air but are dry rotted to the point they should be replaced. The prior owner was a little vague on the work he did to it. He said had replaced the timing belt but to be on the safe side I would replace it again. He had the car repainted the original gold anniversary and clear coated. There is very little, if any, rust on the car. The car came from California. There are little spots of minor damage typical of an older car but neatly kept. The heater valve leaked so I have the heater core bypassed. When it leaked it soaked the carpet so I pulled it out and have not replaced it. The front seats were partially recovered so the colors don't exactly match. I believe the back seat is original and the leather feels totally dried out. The luggage rack is not made by Fiat and needs work. The original under coating is pealing off but the metal underneath looks good. The windshield is cracked but I do have a replacement that goes with the car. It also had air conditioning on it at one time. The compressor and condenser and some of the controls are still on the car but the entire evaporator assembly is gone. I intended to remove all the AC parts but never got to it. I'm not sure if this is considered a 1980 or 1981 model, but pretty sure it is a 1981. eBay thing wouldn't take it when I listed is as a 1981. Priced to sell. This car needs a good home and someone to spend some TLC time with it. Buyer is responsible for pickup. However, I do have a car trailer and will deliver it within 150 miles of Lake City, Florida for $1 per loaded mile (the one way distance). If you are picking it up in person or having a motor carrier pick it up, I will work with you to be here in it is time to get it.
