Interior Condition:Upholstery is in Very Good to Excellent Condition. Headliner is intact and looks great. Replacement parts are untested and not guaranteed to work. They include but are not limited to: ECU A/C Motor Rear View Mirror 2 Side view mirrors Jeep Hubcap Original Am/Fm stereo Seat control panels Windshield Wiper Motor Exterior Door Handles (interior may be there also, can't tell) Multiple covers for lights and displays Interior flaws:Someone cut into the rear door panels and installed 4"-5" round speakers. This did slight damage to the woodgrain (or at least the exterior of the speaker covers the wood grain slightly - perhaps it wasn't cut)The two front windows won't stay up - whether they have slipped or the motors need replacement, I cannot tell. The woodgrain beside the interior push door lock on the drivers side is slightly warped (this effects 1 sq. in. or less)The floor carpet needs to be cleaned and floor mats will need to be purchased and installed, including a cargo mat for the rear. Also, the bracket under the top right of the drivers seat needs to be replaced. It has rusted and does not hold the seat still. Exterior Condition:The paint on the roof and hood is in rough shape. The wood grain has survived intact, and with one white streak on the passenger side, and some trim warping in a couple of spots, I estimate it at 85%-95% overall (including the interior)The frame of the car was only inspected on the passengers side at purchase. We observed no rust and only minor wear. Once we arrived home and had a chance to see the drivers side, we discovered subframe rust. There are a couple of holes (one appears to be 6-8" long and 1"or more? at its widest) one is golf ball sized, and there are some chips missing. As best as we can tell, this extends from halfway down the drivers side door up into the rear drivers side wheel well. We are not professionals and do not claim to have given a full account of the subframe condition, only to have described what we observed to the best of our ability. Please contact me for pictures and, ideally, to view the vehicle before buying. The Engine/Components:The A/C motor needs to be replaced. There is a spare one, but we have no way to know if it works. Everything is, to the absolute best of our ability to tell (I checked AMC branding on engine components), all original, engine, transmission, etc. We just drove it 3.5 hours from the seller's location. There were no issues, knocks, strange sounds, no engine lights. The 4x4 is tested to be fully functional. It runs strong. The story:We have only had this long enough to get the title to sell it and the seller we purchased from only had it 2/3 months. We bought this to be a family vehicle and upon finding the damage, contacted the seller who refused to issue a refund. We are taking a loss in order to put cash towards another family vehicle. Since we drove it home, we have only turned it on and let it run for preventative maintenance purposes. It hasn't been on the road again. Our purchase was completed by the end of May and since then we have just been waiting on the title, which we now have, in order to sell it. The VIN reports a past lien issue. We just registered this Jeep in March with no problem, so we are unsure what this is in reference to.
