1975 BMW R60/6 (600c.c.) motorcycle. Good running condition. I purchased this bike in 1992 as a basket case. I gradually rebuilt it restoring many parts including new paint, powder coated the frame, many new seals, timing chain, and converted to choke style carbs instead of the stock "tickler" carbs. A fun to ride motorcycle with plenty of pickup for a 600cc. Starts quickly, runs good, no smoke. I have receipts and maintenance log for all work I have done. Non stock items include: Horn, handlebars, gas cap, Sun brand wheels, Swirin mufflers, Reynolds ride off center stand, choke style carbs (I do have the originals) and it was dual plugged (but I'm running it single plug now) The tank is rust free and been coated with Kreem sealer. Known issues: Tires, battery and headers are old and should probably be replaced There is a small piece missing on one valve cover (see photo) Damper knob is not complete (see photo) NOTE TO BIDDERS In looking over my receipts and paperwork for this motorcycle I found a letter from the person I bought it from in 1992. In it he mentions the bike having over 100K miles when he parked it. It's been 23 years ago and at some point I must have replaced the speedometer. So, listed mileage may be wrong. Please take this into consideration before bidding. Local pickup only I lost the original key. Had a locksmith make a new one but it has to be turned two clicks to turn on. This isn't really much of an issue.
