This bus was recently purchased from long time owners of 17 years, they used it as a daily driver here in florida but recently decided to use their VW bug more often which made them decide to sell their beloved bus. This bus is the last year German Volkswagens were offered with a split front windshield and 15 windows, the last of the most desirable buses Volkswagen ever made. This bus is highly sought after and very collectible. The bus has a dual port 1600cc engine that runs like a swiss watch mated to the 4-speed manual transmission. The bus runs excellent, shifts great, and drives pretty nice. There is the typical steering wheel freeplay which every bus I have owned seems to have, its not unusual just something worth noting. There are SEVERAL additional parts which I have photographed, from brand new lenses, window locks, distributor, carburetors, voltage regulators, spare fuel gauge, etc…. there is also a complete Safari window kit included in the sale, which does have the glass. This bus originally came with safari windows but the previous owner didn't care for them so they were removed. The interior is clean and driver quality. As you can see the original colors were blue on blue and some of the vinyl dye used is starting to wear off the upholstery. The drier seat has a small tear where it looks like a spring popped through. The headliner is in great shape. The radio works and it feeds to 2 speakers located in the back of the bus in black boxes. All the windows are vented and work/seal great. As you can see the body isn't perfect but is very respectable for a driver. It has very old paint, probably 20 + years old and has some nice patina, especially on the wheels. The glass is all in good shape, some delaminating on the passenger door which gives it a sort of haze. The worst spot of the body is the passenger bottom of the door, some body work is showing though. Also some rust around the windows which I have photographed. The undercarriage is VERY solid, and you can see how nice the rocker panels are; still showing the original drain ports and original pinch welds. The bumpers are nicked up, little rust but fit the mold. Overall this is a wonderful find that is instantly enjoyable. It will continue to climb in value and will always generate a crowd. Up for auction is a very nice original 1967 Volkswagen Deluxe Kombi 13 Window Type II bus. This bus was recently purchased from long time owners of 17 years, they used it as a daily driver here in florida but recently decided to use their VW bug more often which made them decide to sell their beloved bus. This bus is the last year German Volkswagens were offered with a split front windshield and 15 windows, the last of the most desirable buses Volkswagen ever made. This bus is highly sought after and very collectible.

The bus has a dual port 1600cc engine that runs like a swiss watch mated to the 4-speed manual transmission. The bus runs excellent, shifts great, and drives pretty nice. There is the typical steering wheel freeplay which every bus I have owned seems to have, its not unusual just something worth noting. There are SEVERAL additional parts which I have photographed, from brand new lenses, window locks, distributor, carburetors, voltage regulators, spare fuel gauge, etc…. there is also a complete Safari window kit included in the sale, which does have the glass. This bus originally came with safari windows but the previous owner didn't care for them so they were removed.

The interior is clean and driver quality. As you can see the original colors were blue on blue and some of the vinyl dye used is starting to wear off the upholstery. The drier seat has a small tear where it looks like a spring popped through. The headliner is in great shape. The radio works and it feeds to 2 speakers located in the back of the bus in black boxes. All the windows are vented and work/seal great.

As you can see the body isn't perfect but is very respectable for a driver. It has very old paint, probably 20 + years old and has some nice patina, especially on the wheels. The glass is all in good shape, some delaminating on the passenger door which gives it a sort of haze. The worst spot of the body is the passenger bottom of the door, some body work is showing though. Also some rust around the windows which I have photographed. The undercarriage is VERY solid, and you can see how nice the rocker panels are; still showing the original drain ports and original pinch welds. The bumpers are nicked up, little rust but fit the mold.

Overall this is a wonderful find that is instantly enjoyable. It will continue to climb in value and will always generate a crowd. Thank you and good luck
