1968 Chevy Camaro RSTrue Rally Sport * True Barn FindPurchased from a personal friend, that bought the car in the late 80's. He drove it for two years and then put it in his shed. Was just pulled out of the shed two weeks ago. We he bought it, he bought it from a new car dealership, the car belonged to the dealers daughter. He purchased it with a blown motor. He pulled the original motor out and put a 305 small block in it, which is still in the car. Original 2 speed power glide transmission. Still runs, moves, shifts and sounds fine please watch the video. The original 327 was sent to a professional machine shop and the short block was rebuilt in the early 90's. the heads were re-done and stored in his heated basement, but never was put back together or re-installed in the car. The re-built original 327 short block and the original re-manufactured heads do go with the car. As far as we know it is a true Rally Sport Camaro, with an older paint job. Please look at all pictures on our link, this is how we got the car and we will not wash or clean the 20+ years or dirt. Brakes are weak, but will stop the car. We have had it running to drive in and out of the garage. Does not smoke, does not knock, does not overheat. Hide away headlights do not work. Rally wheels are 14x6 and centers are original GM not reproduction (very heavy). As far as I can tell the floor boards are original.
