WHILE DISC BRAKES WERE AN UPGRADE WHEN ORDERING THE 9" WAS STANDERD ON THE XR7. OTHER FEATURES ARE LEATHER SEATS, NOT VINYL, INTEREIOR LITE CONTROLS IN CENTER OF DASH, REAR DEFOG, FLIP UP HEADLIGHTS, SEQENTCIEL TAIL LITES, AND MERC RALLY WHEELS.THE AFTER MARKET STEREO SOUNDS GOOD AND HAS CD AND REMOTE. NOTE: IT SHOWS THE WHITE LOOKING REALLY CLEAN BUT THE TOP SHOWS WEAR FROM BEING CLEANED ALOT BUT NO BUBBLING. INSIDE SHOWS A LIL DIRT THATS NOT COMING OFF AS EXCEPTED. THE INTERIOR HAS ONE TEAR IN DRIVER SEAT LESS THAN INCH LONG THAT WAS FIXED WITH A V REPAIR KIT. DASH PAD HAS NO CRACKS, CARPET HAS SOME STAINS IN REAR, HEADLINER HAS SOME HOLES BUT NOT SAGGING. GUY MADE REAL NICE WOOD PIECES FOR CONSOLE. THE WHITE UNDER DASH IS FACTORY COLORS BUT I THINK IT WOULD LOOK BETTER RED LIKE AS DASH PAD. THIS DOES DRIVE OUT VERY NICE AND ALOT OF NEW PARTS WERE ADDED IN 2005, AS PER LAST 70 YEAR OLD MECHANIC THAT OWNED IT. THIS 69 COUGAR IS A TRUE XR7 AND CAME OUT OF CALIORNIA THEN BROUGHT TO INDIANA IN 2004. SHE RUNS AND DRIVES GREAT. HAS LOTS OF OPTIONS AND MOST STUFF WORKS ACCEPT AC BUT IT IS HOOKED UP. WHILE DISC BRAKES WERE AN UPGRADE WHEN ORDERING THE 9" WAS STANDERD ON THE XR7. OTHER FEATURES ARE LEATHER SEATS, NOT VINYL, INTEREIOR LITE CONTROLS IN CENTER OF DASH, REAR DEFOG, FLIP UP HEADLIGHTS, SEQENTCIEL TAIL LITES, AND MERC RALLY WHEELS.
THE AFTER MARKET STEREO SOUNDS GOOD AND HAS CD AND REMOTE.
NOTE: IT SHOWS THE WHITE LOOKING REALLY CLEAN BUT THE TOP SHOWS WEAR FROM BEING CLEANED ALOT BUT NO BUBBLING. INSIDE SHOWS A LIL DIRT THATS NOT COMING OFF AS EXCEPTED. THE PAINT HAS SOME CHIPS THAT ARE HRD TO SEE IN PICS AND SOME VERY LITE SCRATCHES WHEN BUFFED OUT.
THE BODY IS REALLY SOLID TOP TO BOTTOM. FRAME RAILS AND ALL EXCEPT THE TRUNK ON BOTH SIDES HAS A COUPLE HOLES, SEE PHOTOS. PRETTY STRAIGHT CAR WITH GOOD LINES. DOORS AND WINDOWS WORK GOOD.
THE INTERIOR HAS ONE TEAR IN DRIVER SEAT LESS THAN INCH LONG THAT WAS FIXED WITH A V REPAIR KIT. DASH PAD HAS NO CRACKS, CARPET HAS SOME STAINS IN REAR, HEADLINER HAS SOME HOLES BUT NOT SAGGING. GUY MADE REAL NICE WOOD PIECES FOR CONSOLE. THE WHITE UNDER DASH IS FACTORY COLORS BUT I THINK IT WOULD LOOK BETTER RED LIKE AS DASH PAD.
THIS DOES DRIVE OUT VERY NICE AND ALOT OF NEW PARTS WERE ADDED IN 2005, AS PER LAST 70 YEAR OLD MECHANIC THAT OWNED IT. HE SAID ENGINE AND TRANS REBUILT ALONG WITH BRAKES AND RE SEALED REAREND, NEW SHOCKS AND FRONTEND PARTS AND TIRES BACK IN O5' WITH LIKE 2000 TO 3000 MILES.
