Vehicle Detail

Bought this about 6 months ago with the intent to finish with my daughter and then give to her for her 1st car (truck), I guess what I thought she wanted wasn't really what she wanted: imagine that! :-) It is a 1965 C10 step side short bed, original motor and tranny to the best of my knowledge and the previous two owners knowledge but I will not certify this as I have not completed the research myself. What has been done: All new chrome too include front and rear bumpers and light bezels. All new lights and new painless wiring harness front and back. New glass and rubbers around the glass. New floor liner with insulation. Took the three speed off of the column and put it on the floor using Mr. Gasket. All original parts still available to put back on the steering wheel. 327 was rebuilt at some time as it has a high output cam, alot of chrome on the motor, with new stainless radiator motor runs at an even 180 all day. New exhaust not including the headers, 12" dual glass packs, incredible sound, neighbors will love you! New bed, sides and gate, new hardware for the gate, new wood and trim. External oil pressure gauge, external RPM, external thermostat. What needs to be done: Paint, interior to your choice. Tires are odd man out, while loading on a trailer I popped the front right, could not find the match as it is no longer produced and had to buy a Discount special just to get it off the trailer. Leaking a little oil, never took the time to find the leak because in my plans was an LS conversion. Mileage is unknown as the odometer was not connected and the motor was rebuilt, it says 47k on it. I have driven this truck all over Colorado Springs, and back and forth to Denver (about a 65 mile drive) several times, so I would consider this a daily driver though I have not used it as such, After sitting in the garage for a couple of weeks I will go out and fire her up no problems, very strong and powerful motor. This truck makes a great driver while still in the process of finishing. All heads turn and thumbs up when on the road! Any questions feel free to call me at a reasonable hour: Dave 303-995-3018
