I may consider trades, up or down, for two stroke street bikes. This is a 1985 Honda VF1100S, or V65 Sabre, with 41,784 miles. This bike needs nothing mechanically and is an excellent rider just the way it is. It starts right up warm or cold. It runs, drives, stops and handles just as it should. It accelerates strong and shifts smoothly. The clutch engagement is very smooth and linear. There are no abnormal engine or transmission noises and it maintains normal temperature. All of the lights, signals, horn and instruments work. All of the warning lights work as do the fuel gauge, temperature gauge and gear position indicator. The tires are one year old Bridgestone’s with less than 700 miles on them and plenty of tread. It also has a brand new maintenance free battery. The fork seals are fine and the steering head bearings are nice and smooth. Mechanically I don’t think this bike needs anything except maybe an oil change. It does not leak or drip anything. The bike has a few scrapes and scratches, mostly on the fairing. The lower fairing has been cracked and repaired on both sides. One of the fairing vent louvres is missing on the right side. The paint on the tank is shiny and in very nice shape. Anything you see on the tank in the photos is a reflection. The tank has been epoxy sealed and lined at some point in its life, but the work must have been done well because it does not leak or drip. The side covers have no cracks or missing tabs and the seat is perfect. The exhaust has no rust through. The original tool kit is in place and I also have all of the part to remove the fairing and return it to its original square headlight “naked” configuration if you want to go that route. The bike has a clear, open NY State title. Shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. I am open to serious “buy it now” offers.
