RELISTING this car due to a non-paying buyer.... PLEASE NOTE: This car is located in Phoenix, AZ. This auction is for one 1997 Nissan Maxima. It is a very dark green with tan / light tan interior. Overall the car is in between fair and good condition. See photos for body and underside condition, and caveat paragraph below. Auction includes owners manuals. The car has new or newer (newer being replaced within the last 3 years): Windshield, Battery, Valve cover gaskets and special valve cover washers, alignment after new front axles and CV joints (4000 miles on these), Alternator, Belts, brakes and tires... studded snow tires on the car have approx. 4000 miles on them, regular newer tires are also included and have about 5000 miles on them. Trans fluid is good condition, oil is newer. Transmission was working fine and shifted well. Exhaust system is custom but was in good condition (no leaks). See photos for body and underside condition, and caveat paragraph below. Car has many small dents, etc. as is normal for a car this age and condition. Caveats: This car was fixed up in CT in order to be lent to a friend for the next 6 months. It was then driven from CT to Phoenix, AZ. While in Phoenix, it developed an engine problem which sounds like it has thrown a rod. The car starts and can be driven short distances, but will likely need an engine rebuild. Power radio antenna is broken, but does extend about 2 feet when pulled out manually. Power motor for antenna retraction is broken... you can hear it try to retract the antenna. The car can be viewed but email me over eBay and we can arrange a time with my friend in AZ. SOLD AS IS Was a great car which is why I invested so much in it, but we weren't expecting the engine problem which may have been due to low oil level. PLEASE NOTE: Accident report likely from mild rear ending circa 2008 (?) or so... I've had the car since 2012 or so. There is a pushed in / crease behind the (then replaced) rear bumper cover, about 2+ inches deep, and vee shaped... car has operated fine since then.
