Vehicle Detail
I have owned since summer of 2012 and put just over 2000 miles on it. I purchased for original owner stored in garage. A full BMW service done at the dealer was performed when I got the bike. This included all fluids, battery, tires, spark plugs, throttle synch, clutch adjust, etc. Since I have had the bike I have done scheduled maintenance and oil changes biannually. Currently running royal purple synthetic. Bike has small cylinder scratches from where it fell over, non moving just in garage. I repainted cylinder heads with high temp matching paint but you can still see where it was scuffed. Previous owner had belt scratch on tank and added a stick on tank protector. I was going to remove but it kind of grew on me. If you have never driven one of these bikes they are a joy. German engineering at it's finest. Stable enough to cruise on the highway, and torquey enough throughout the RPM's to curve through the countryside. Transmission built to circumnavigate the world. To the uninitiated shifts a little like a tractor. Shaft drive reliability. I wouldn't hesitate to drive the bike to Alaska and back tomorrow. Fun to drive, legendary reliability. Runs perfect. Ride like you were meant to, no fairing, just you and the bike. Let me know if you have any questions or if you would like to see the bike, I am in the suburbs of Memphis. Test drives welcome as long as you bring cash with you :) Bike for sale locally I reserve the right to end auction early.
