1967 Ford Mustang 289 V-8 3-Speed Transmission1967 Ford Mustang 289 V-8 with 3 Speed Manual Transmission. Mechanically sound. Runs and drives. Needs to be finished. Floor needs some attention, body as well. New Carburetor, Air Filter Assembly, Oil Change, Caroll Shelby Valve Covers, Interstate Battery, Spark Plugs, Spark Plug Wires, Distributor Cap, Points, Both Rear Wheel Cylinders, Both Rear Axle Seals, Both Rear Brake Drums, All Three Hand Brake Cables, Front Disc Brakes, Both Front Rotors, Both Front Calibers, Both Front Brake Hoses, Power Brake Booster/Master Cylinder, Radiator, Thermo-state, Ball Joint and Fuel Pump etc... Upon finding this car with a 1980 County Sticker on it, I did not turn the motor over until after changing the oil. Installed a New Carburetor, Fuel Pump, Points, Distributor, Wires, Plugs, and it fired right up, after all that time. I have never as of yet ran the engine off of the original OEM gas tank, I have only ran car from plastic gas tank as seen in pictures. Figured gas tank was to rusty to do so safely without ruining new carburetor. This is a complete car that just needs completing. Was on the way to restoring car to an Eleanor since its a 67'. There is a place in FL. that installs the fast back top, both door curved glasses and smaller trunk lid for 3,000 fiberglass, and 5,000 metal. Each Front Caliber, which is factory, is 175.00 each. I was told from the parts store, after they ordered incorrect calibers, that they are GT500 brake calibers. This coupe has GT options but the Vin# doesn't say it is a GT. Console is in good shape and the interior light at the base of the console lights up, when opening door. Happy Bidding!
