The Pininfarina-styled 308 was introduced at the Paris Motor Show in 1975 as a supplement to the unloved Bertone-shaped Dino 308 GT4 and a replacement for the Dino 246. Designed by Leonardo Fioravanti who had been responsible for some of Ferrari's most celebrated shapes to date such as the Daytona, the Dino and the Berlinetta Boxer. With sweeping curves and aggressive lines, the 308 has become one of the most recognized and iconic Ferrari road cars. Completed in January of 1984 and sold new on May 1, 1984 through Wide World of Cars Inc. of Spring Valley, NY, this GTB Coupe wears a very classy Grigio paint over Black leather interior, equipped with air conditioning, power windows and power mirrors. Today, the coupe appears nicely presented overall with just over 52,000 recorded miles, the interior upholstery, undercarriage and stowage compartments remain tidy and free of concerns. An extensive file of records indicate that this particulary 308 has always been a very well maintained example by its previous caretakers. The cabin is comfortable with leather seating, trim and carpeting showing nearly as new, reupholstered with OEM materials only three years ago. All factory side glass is fitted with etchings. The Ferrari's body and paint show well with straight lines, excellent gaps displaying an older quality repaint. Nice original Campagnolo wheels compliment. The rear stowage compartment contains an original emergency pouch with jack and accessories. All original owner's manuals and booklets in pouch remain with the car. This GTB sports a nicely detailed power plant, tight steering and solid suspension as expected from a maintained example with much restorative work commissioned in 2012. A binder of servicing and maintenance records date back to the 1990's. Ferrari 308's are becoming increasingly desirable and good ones are difficult to find.
