Before I purchased this car it had been sitting in a Garage since 1984. I bought it and performed a bunch of maintenance to get the car road worthy. I have done the wheel cylinders on all 4 corners, new fuel tank, brake and fuel lines, tires, new radiator (still have the original), new water pump (still have the original), thermostat, coolant hoses,belts, plugs, wires, cap, points, rotor, and new master cylinder. This car has a few rough spots in the trunk, and the rear quarter panels. Has factory A/C. Car runs and drives great. The pictures I have are the only ones I have currently. I will be taking more after I wash and detail it. THIS CAR IN COMPLETE AND IS A DRIVER!! Engine casting number is 1241748, it is date coded correct but the vin number location was incorrect and seemed to have been stamped over possibly from the factory or dealer. Still seems to be a low mileage car. I have cleaned up the exterior but I haven't cleaned the interior yet. I have put around 200 miles on it in the past few weeks and the car runs straight down the road. Doesn't pull and everything is tight. Every thing works as it should except the A/C compressor needs replaced. This is 1 of 604 1972 Buick GS convertibles ever made. Even more rare Stratomist blue with white top and white interior.
