Regret it, but looking to sell my 1968 Corvette 427/435 hp tri-power,4 speed convertible. This is a true L71 matching numbers motor and transmission. Car underwent a frame up restoration in 2012. At that time, car was repainted the original British Green. Paint is excellent but does have a few very minor defects. New seat covers, new carpet, besides that interior is original and excellent. Just professionally restored the original shift and and gauge consoles. Door panels excellent. Chrome excellent with no pitting. Frame is solid and excellent, stored in climate-controlled garage it's whole life. Driven only in summer. Was owned by same family for over 30+ years. Was off road 25+ years before restoration in 2012. Matching numbers engine was just completely rebuilt. Ground-up rebuild, no expense spared, all wear parts replaced including new old stock (NOS) 11:1 pistons, rings, seals, gaskets, etc. Block and crank professionally hot-tanked, magna fluxed and machined. Bored .40 over. New water pump, all new belts, NOS plug wires, exhaust manifolds sandblasted, high-performance cam. Engine is very original with the original heads, intake, exhaust manifolds, carburetors, distributor, brake booster, master cylinder, radiator, etc. Brakes and mufflers are new, original radiator just rebuilt. New front shocks and bushings. New heavy-duty clutch. Car is now putting out over 500hp. About 50 miles on engine now. Original correct rally wheels restored. Original wood steering wheel just professionally restored. Everything works including clock and fiber-optics, windows, headlights, wipers, etc. New tires. Have original build sheet in good condition.
