NO RESERVE AUCTION: For your consideration, a 1978 Honda Gold Wing GL 1000 with 36,950 miles. I just got the bike out of winter storage and it fired right up and ran down the road pretty good. I noticed the bike runs better at higher rpm's which I'm sure indicates it is going to need the carbs serviced soon. Also the idle was irratic. The tachometer isn't working correctly but it does work. All other gauges work fine. The tires are also needing replaced before long. This bike can be driven home as is. It has always been very dependable. I put approximately 3,000 trouble free miles on it over the last two riding seasons. Cosmetics of the bike are fairly good with a few exceptions. The fairing is silver and the bike is blue. I have the additional lower fairings also in silver. The seat needs the driver portion recovered. It is very comfortable as is but it is currently taped up. The side panels have a couple of repairs on the tabs. There is a set of floorboards that comes with the bike. I found them cumbersome and went back to the originals. I'm not positive but I think the bike is due to be serviced. I have in my possession a clear Indiana title.
