A very nicely equipped low mileage completely mint unmolested garage kept car that has been mainly owned by old people. 3 owners clean Carfax no accidents. No mods, everything is original except the tires and battery. Service records going back to 2000. All owners manuals in original binder with radio codes and two keys. Recent Hankook tires. Recent oil change and service. New rear window last year. A very expensive base model with nice upgrades like cruise control, the on-board computer, aluminum faced gauges and the 6 CD changer and optional rear speakers. Check the factory invoice or the under-hood sticker for a complete list. This base model had a list price over $50k. No leaks no noises and no rattles. An amazingly quiet car. Everything works as it should. Title in hand. The 2000 Boxster is one of the best 986 models. It is as light as the earlier models but has the higher horsepower and torque of the 2.7 for greater flexibility. It also has the dual row IMS bearing which is much more desirable and reliable than the single row that is on the 2001 and newer Boxsters. Look at and drive as many cars as you can that is the only way you can tell the good from the bad. Mileage makes a difference, things wear out and get noisy and loose, all kinds of small things eventually have to be replaced. Buy the best car you can afford because repairing and fixing up a Porsche will get expensive fast. Don't be fooled by a low price, you are going to pay one way or the other. There is nothing more expensive than a cheap Porsche.
