For Sale is a 2006 VW Passat 3.6 v6 FWD in Black. This car has every option available at the time purchased. The headlights are HID and both bulbs were replaced last year by the dealer. Both Rear Calipers, Pads, and Rotors were replaced in October($1800). New front tires in Feb and the Rear tires are about a year older. Oil changes are done on time with Synthetic. This car is adult owned and kept stock. Selling this one due to gas mileage, it will get 29 mpg highway but Im looking to get close to 40 mpg with a smaller newer car. Issues with the car are listed in the Sheet attached from my mechanic back in Feb of this year. There are codes being thrown for the ABS and Throttle Body, casing the check engine light. It was diagnosed to have a faulty wiring harness going to the throttle body. I cant afford to put any more time or money into this car. This car was used for commuting to Princeton from Jersey Shore almost everyday If you are handy with German cars then this is the perfect car. It drives nice, the interior has some wear and the paint still looks glossy.On Apr-09-15 at 17:04:35 PDT, seller added the following information: To answer a lot of questions regarding the Throttle body and ABS. The Throttle body code causes limp mode to occur on the car which will throttle the High revs and puts the check engine light on. Sport mode and Shifting through the 6 speeds work fine. The ABS code is causing the cars traction control not to work, but the Anti-Lock Brakes work just fine. Front brakes will need new pads. The car will get you wherever you wanna go and I've listed the problems to the best of my knowledge and by the inspection of my mechanic. Thanks for looking
