This truck is ¾ of the way to restored completion, can be driven and enjoyed as-is. Rust free original body truck has lived in the high desert of eastern Washington it’s whole life. Original short bed, not a converted long bed. This truck was brought to my shop to complete the restoration, the owner liked a mint personal vintage truck of mine, traded this Ford in on that truck. I planned to complete this truck and sell, but I’m several months out on customer work so I don’t have the time to complete it. My techs spent 4 days going over this truck, clean bill of health, ready for the new owner. With some cosmetics, this is a 15-18k truck. Compression tested great, no smoke, great oil pressure. 4 Speed manual trans, good clutch, Dana 44 disc brake front axle, Ford 9 in rear axle. Went on a 75 mile trip yesterday, runs and drives great, goes down the road straight, stops well. Gauges work. 84xxx original miles. Does not need any serious mechanical work, only things that pops out at me is the need for a new heater core, it was leaking and by-passed. The truck feels good and tight under test drive, it also has a real power steering set-up that works great, not the old style ram-assist. BODY The body is in exceptional condition speaking 70’s Ford. The body is all original and rot free. The exterior was painted 2 years ago, looks great. The interior is original paint, tires are 33/12.5/15 on aluminum wheels. I explain the condition of the entire truck in length on the video. Small cosmetic needs here and there. This is an exceptional Ford truck, with some mild cosmetic work it will be a valuable truck. Finding a rust free short bed 4x4 is getting very hard, you can drive this truck as you finish it. I have a clean clear WA state title in my name in hand, matching VIN tags to title.
