Hey, I am trying to sell my 2001 Audi TT AWD Convertible. The car has a clean title in hand, and Im looking to sell fairly quickly. I have an appraisle from CarMax that I am considering. The car does need some work, but I think for the price its still a pretty good deal. - The Good: - AWD, Convertible, 6 Speed Manual, Heated Leather Seats, 6 Disc CD Changer, Cassette Deck *, Power Windows*, Power Locks - The Bad: - The Car overheats when you idle for to long. Its also leaking coolant. The Top is in Rough shape in the Rear window. I garage the car at night and rarely drive it in the Snow or Rain. If the car is parked outside, I would think the Top would leak when it rains hard. The Passenger Window does not go down, I think its an easy fix as it will still drop roughly 1 inch when you open the door or put the top up/down for safety. But you cannot roll it down all the way. I believe their is a battery drain issue, as when the car sits for a couple days it will need to be jumped. Once jumped and driven for a while its usually pretty good until it sits 24+ hours. I drove it around on Friday about 80 miles, and had no issues with it starting up, went to 6 places on the day. The ABS/Traction lights kick on after driving about a block. This has occurred since I bought the car and havnt noticed any real effect on the driving so never bother to fix it or really look into it. Recently a tail light went out, nothing big just needs a new bulb I would think. The car was rarely driven in Winter, garaged for the most part. I recently purchased a cassette tape to use for Ipods/MP3's but the take seems to have gotten stuck in the tape deck. This happened roughly 2 weeks ago, I haven't tried to "pry" it out so it might be an easy thing to take out. The Exterior is in pretty good shape, a couple marks on the back from a license plate bumping me and some sctaches that might be able to get buffed out from trying to remove some Tree Sap I think.
