Up for auction is my like-new Triumph Scrambler with ONLY 456 miles on it. I bought this bike new in the summer of 2012 after selling a trike that no longer met our motorcycling needs. I had recently moved to an area with much more traffic than I was used to and bought this bike to ride the back roads here in western NC. I've slowly lost interest in riding and find that I prefer restoring old Japanese bikes from the 60's and 70's rather than riding them. As a result, this bike is truly like new. I've added the skid plate from Triumph as well as an after-market center stand. I took the stock seat (which is as hard as a rock) and had the foam in the front half of the seat removed and replaced with gel foam to make longer rides more comfortable. There are no visual indications that the seat has been altered. Although the bike has very low miles, I start the bike at least monthly and ride it a few miles in the neighborhood until everything gets good and warmed up. Once done riding I wipe it down and put it back in the garage. Even after sitting for a month the bike starts immediately and always runs flawlessly. The bike has always been on a battery tender and all gas used has either been treated with an ethanol treatment additive or I've filled it with ethanol-free fuel. The color on the bike is the matte green which is really an eye catcher as well as easy to maintain. I've even left the factory color markings on the screws and bolts used to indicate quality assurance checks. I have a clear title for the bike in my name. I'm putting the bike up for sale locally as well so it's possible the auction will end early. Please don't hesitate to ask questions. I'll be glad to assist your shipper with transport.
