Vehicle Detail
1972 road runner built 440 4 speed 8 3/4 posi, vin #RM23P2R332317, original 4sp car with original transmission and rear end originally came with a 400 c.i. motor, the motor sounds nasty nice cam sounds like a solid cam, it lights the tires up all the way through first and second havn't gotten on it up through third, i'm estimating 400-500 horse power based on the muscle cars i've owned, it is an absolute blast to drive, the stock size tires are no match for the power, weiand intake, it had a big holley double pumper but it needs rebuilt (it goes with car looks almost new but car sat for 3 years) msd pro billet distributor coil and 6al box, hooker headers, 4 sp with pistol grip shifter, 741 case rear end not sure of the gear ratio I have just driven it around the neighborhood but it lays full posi, power steering, manual drum brakes are marginal needs at least master cylinder or front disc conversion, it has a new gas tank and half inch aluminum fuel line it wasn't getting gas so I have a make shift fuel system with electric pump and I put an edlebrock carb I had laying around on it. Not sure about the internals of the motor but it is extremely strong. The car hasn't leaked anything since i've had it, exhaust sounds amazing flowmasters with newer pipes, it's a pretty solid car, the interior is in really good shape, the seats have 2 or 3 tears along stitching but the vinyl is soft not brittle, door panels are good, carpet is just faded, headliner is falling down, dash pad is cracked, guage package in dash, oil pressure altenator and temperature, the autometer monster tach and guages work, pretty much everything worked when I got it radio even the rear window defroster fan, glass is in good shape, suspension feels tight, 15”x8” mopar rallys with new tires, the body is in solid shape, floor pans are in great shape looks like they have been professionally undercoated, rockers are good except for a spot on right rear at wheel opening that needs some work (see pic) front fenders are good doors are good even underneath of them, air grabber hood, in good shape, the quartes need some work, the drivers is not to bad, the passenger needs patched around the wheel opening and in the wheel house where it attaches to rocker doesn't necessarily need a full ¼, inner wheel houses are good outers aren't bad, trunk lid is good, trunk pan is pretty good it looks like some of it has been replaced at some point, someone chemically stripped the car 3 or 4 years ago, the car is pretty much all there except side marker lights, options on fender tag: D21 H D manual transmission floor shift Assembly plant Windsor ontario C12 shoulder belts 524 prod date 5/24/1972 E68 400-4 HP HB1 paint code blue sky C16 console w/buckets EW1 upper door frame white C56 dual reclining buckets D6XW trim grade deluxe G37 o/s dual chrome mirror RM23 car line plymouth-road H41 strato ventilation runner/gtx 1972-74 2 dr hard top H31 rear window defog blower 22 22”radiator L31 HD/fen mount turn sign M21 roof drip rail mould ENGINE NUMBERS M31 belt and hood mold 440 cubic inches N23 electric ignition WT water tested N41 dual exhaust w/o tips S service replacement block N25 engine block heater 1 29 2 built jan 29 2nd one that day R35 am/fm multiplex stereo radio U22 8.5”x15” wheels U built to usa specsAssembly plant windsor ontario canada524 prod date 5/24/1972HB1 paint code blue skyEW1 upper door frame whiteD6XW trim grade deluxeRM23 car line plymouth-road runner/gtx 1972-74 2 dr hard top 22 22" radiatorEngine numbers 440 c.i.
