NO RESERVEHIGHEST BIDDER OWNS IT!!! This 1967 Convertible Corvette is a very RARE Combination of options & condition and is a special car with 44,362 original miles (Documented through previous years titles/registration in Kansas DOT) and a fresh restoration. I had this car listed before Christmas and it sold at but the buyer couldn't come up with funds to complete so I have held it and am now relisting it at NO RESERVE as I can not hold it any longer... PLEASE, if you bid, have the means to follow through with the bid you set. With that out of the way, lets get on to the Corvette: This '67 Corvette is a rare opportunity to buy...it has documentation showing storage since 1986 (Kansas) prior to restoration. It was a true "barn find"!It was originally built in September of 1966 (Tank Sticker documented) and was purchased by myself in 2013 out of a 27 year dry storage and underwent an almost 2 YEAR restoration to the current Show level condition. This Midyear wins any show... Highlights of the restoration: 1) Completely new/refreshed Interior 2) Completely new top (Black) *Please read about optional restored Hardtop that is available to buyer at discount.3) Full instrumentation restoration with new gauge faces.4) Dash and wiring removed and restored to work as new (Clock works as well) ***VIN/TRIM tag pics taken prior to restoration 5) Completely new Chrome Bumpers (including hardware)6) Period correct engine replacement that was removed, rebuilt and repainted to show quality...all hoses were replaced as well as radiator. 7) Completely new exhaust8) Full restoration of suspension with mostly replacement...looks as good underneath as it does on top.9) Completely new brake system.10) Completely new AC box/heater core. 11) Powder coated correct wheels with new Redline tires.12) New clutch/pressure plate.13) Over-the-top Paint and bodywork...car looks like it was dipped in white. The above doesn't include the thousands of dollars on small parts! Restoration cost was over $70,000 and hours are too numerous to mention. Hopefully the above paints the picture of how thorough the restoration on this car was. It is absolutely ready to be a show car or driver...it's as new. Starts on first bump, Shifts easily, tracks straight, stops straight, power steering is quiet, runs cool, no leaks...etc. The car lived its life in Kansas and with such little use it was unbelievably preserved...now, with the restoration it's almost like buying a new '67 off the Chevrolet sales lot! Why this car is more "Special" than the average, restored '67 Convertible: 1) This Corvette is wearing its FACTORY color combination. Ermine White with Red interior (Which happens to be the original 1953 Corvette colors) is a RARE combination for this year... 2) Tank Sticker documentation for Build date and 2 VERY important factory options: A) Code C60: Factory Air Conditioning (Fully restored and blowing cold) B) Code L79: Car was originally built with the potent L79 (350hp/327ci) Cars like this don't come around often and this is due to the rarity of these options... In 1967, there were 22,940 Corvettes made. Of those, 14,436 were convertibles. 27.79% got the high-horsepower L79 motor option which would be ~4011 cars ONLY 16.51% got option C60 (Air Conditioning) which most historians assume the majority went in Coupes (versus convertibles)...so conservatively, if it WAS 50/50 then ~2383 total Convertibles with AC were built. White was a rare color with 6.20% and the interior options were Black, blue and red. Black was estimated to take up 50% of production, leaving Red and Blue sharing volume for the other 3.10% of cars. Put all of these important options together and you have a car that was most likely 1 of 10 built (Who knows how many still exist?) This car is a documented car with 44,362 original miles and was optioned in a way that makes it 0.00044% of Chevrolet's 1967 Corvette production! Tank sticker is preserved in a frame and will be included with the car as well as a HUGE stack of receipts and previous years history from Kansas showing mileage documentation...This is a no excuse car ready for the shows! I am starting this auction at the price for an average, driver quality '67 convertible ($50,000) and letting the bidders decide what the added value is for this level of restoration, history, mileage and Factory AC that this car has. The minute that it gets its first bid IT IS CONSIDERED SOLD, so I will not sell it out from under anyone. If you have highest bid then YOU WILL BE IN FIRST POSITION unless someone outbids you in this auction. Nothing will be negotiated "Behind the Scenes" for an auction closing...I realize that not everyone has an eBay account so I will accept bids from '0' history bidders with prior notice (which means you'll have to sign up to bid) ***This car also has a fully restored Hardtop that is available to the buyer as a separate purchase. This car was not originally optioned with a Factory hardtop but I restored it to the same standard as the car in order to show it with the hardtop. Restored hardtops usually trade at $4000 but the buyer has first right on it at $1500 after completion of the auction. It is painted white and was restored along with car so it is just as perfect. I have been on eBay for over a Decade and have a 100% rating. I have described this car with full disclosure, it is a completely restored car with less than 100 miles since restoration (Driving on/off trailer and around shows). The pictures on eBay are limited to 24 so if you want anymore pics or information please message me and I am happy to get you anything you want. This is a no excuse car and is investment quality. It's the right year and has a great history. The car is located in Edmond, Oklahoma and as of this listing, will not be touched. It will sit untouched until the new owner picks it up or arranges transport. I am available to help with transport and since I am centrally located, transport is an easy schedule... HAPPY BIDDING!
