This auction is for a 1969 Pontiac FIREBIRD with a 400 c.i engine , Automatic transmission TH400 , Power Steering , Power Disc Brakes , 10 bolt rearend with multi-leaf rear suspension . A sharp looking car that is clean and shows nice throughout. Nice clean body , trunk and floor pans. Doors open and close very nice and all body gaps look great. I believe this to be the correct color of Carousel Red ( code 72 trim tag ) with Black interior. Bucket seats and console with the Correct floor mounted shifter. The Interior is very nice and looks to have a new headliner and carpet. No rips or tears in the seats and foam is in good condition. It does not have a radio, but the dash has not been cut or modified to fit later model radios. Engine compartment looks stock and correct and the brake system has a new cadium plated brake booster and the engine is painted the correct Pontiac blue. It has headers and a new 2 1/2" dual exhaust system run to the back of the car. It has a mild lumpy idle and starts right up with no funny noises or issues. Not a show car, but a fantastic turn key Saturday night local car cruise hot rod. I have no documentation and don't know if this is a matching number car or an original big block car, just selling it as a nice clean 69 Firebird coupe.
