I purchased this car for my personal love of 1950 Fords from my childhood as it is very original and was owned here in California by a couple who received it when new as a wedding present , drove it very little as it had such sentimental value to them. It came from their estate about 2 years ago when I purchased it in their home town, Fresno California. It has Good wide whitewalls, and is equipped with overdrive. The gas tank was removed and reconditioned. the engine is very good, and really needs to be driven as it sat for a long time.Good oil pressure.May need thermostats removed and replaced as I suspect one isn't opening.. I replaced the brake wheel cylinders and brake flex lines.Installed a master cylinder kit. Disassembled the Carburator and serviced the ignition system. I have only driven the car down the street a few blocks and am currently unable to proceed due to health issues. Some things that need immediate attention are the brakes need to be bled and adjusted, the generator brushes need to be serviced as it will only occasionally charge . The speedometer cable I have pulled out as it needs to be lubed. The seats and door panels are very good, I have the old style seat covers which I purchased as they had these a lot back in the 50's and they protect the seats .
