Vehicle Detail

RE-LISTING FROM DEC. 2014 DUE TO NON-PAYING BIDDER. For your consideration........... one very nice 1972 Chevy Blazer at a very low reserve. Cons: Small rust patch above driver's door sill. Surface rust along bottom of both doors. Needs new passenger side rocker panel. An easy fix Rust along bottom of passenger side fender, but throwing in a perfect original fender for you to swap out. Clear coat peeling off hood. After market intermittent wipers just quit. Will try to fix before end of listing. Unsure if it's the wiper motor, or simply a fuse. The cowl has a hole in it where someone mounted an antenna incorrectly. Included is an original cowl, and brand new antenna. Pros: Exceptionally clean under carriage. Only rust I can find is on the dual exhaust. Approx. a 4"Rancho suspension lift kit. REBUILT 205 transfer case. REBUILT front, and rear Dana's. 12 bolt rear end. Strong running 350 with the 4bbl Quadrajet. Strong, and snappy 350 transmission. Brand new foam, and seat covers come with rig. I had an estimate of $50.00 to have them re-upholstered locally. The expense was in the material, purchased from "Brother's", so it's good quality. Just replaced one new tie rod. Front end is very tight. Aftermarket stereo, but the speakers are "junk". Newer instrument panel with wood grain, including Tach. Dual wall fiberglass top with factory interior lights. Top does have typical cracking for it's age. Has key for locking lift handle. Padded dash is perfect. Theft device. Comes with key fob. One click allows ignition to start, the other disables the ignition. Very nice 15" powder coated wheels, with great looking hubcaps. Like brand new 33" Toyo tires. 90% plus tread, still have the little rubber "nibs" on them. They are "siped" as well. Tow hitch. Front, and rear bumpers in excellent condition, as is stainless. No pitting anywhere on door handles, mirrors, etc. I do have some extra stainless for tail gate, as one piece has a couple very minor dings. I also have the chrome strip which runs along the rear of the bed, and the original inside panels. The material is fine, however the card board type backing is splitting. Shouldn't be a major job to remove the vinyl and use old backing as a template. One reverse lens is cracked, but comes with 2 new ones. A lot of people think rigs from Idaho are rust buckets. That is not the case with this Blazer. I don't own, nor sell "junk". Please check my feedback. This is one VERY SOLID, HONEST 1972 CST Blazer. Previous adult owner said he purchased this Blazer out of Eastern Oregon from an elderly gentleman, who obviously took great care of it, which is why I purchased it. I may be the 3rd owner, but cannot prove this. NO disappointments whatsoever. Power steering. Power disc brakes. If you are looking for an extremely LOW BUDGET restoration.......... this may be for you. This Blazer runs, and drives exactly as it should. NO leaks, rattles, or squeaks. Drives down the road beautifully, always getting compliments. No signs of abuse, having a perfect stance. The original rear seat is in perfect shape, having no rips, tears, or cuts. Still has factory mount for whip antenna, and factory mounting holes for "swing away" spare tire carrier, (included with sale). Also comes with one "steelie" rim without tire. I believe all rims are 10" wide. Also included is an aftermarket under dash mount A/C unit. Everything should be there, including every pulley, and bracket. Under the hood is a K&N air cleaner, and a newer Red Top Optima battery. This Blazer fires right up every time without any issues. I can easily believe this Blazer to have 119,000, but??? miles on it, but you would have to see to believe. Both rear quarters are in amazing shape. Zero rust. Saddle tanks have been removed. No hidden surprises. No fancy Showroom, or million dollar home used as a backdrop. What you see is what you will get. So, you re-cover the front seats, and a fresh paint job, and you'll be the proud owner of one very nice, collectible Blazer. It needs nothing else.............. but a responsible adult driver, as in the past. A LOT of time, and money has gone into the undercarriage. You will be impressed. I sold my other 5 classics, but have kept this Blazer til last. The only reason I'm selling it, is because I have a failed back surgery and can no longer drive it. I need something more practical like a sedan. So please make a fair offer, as it must go. You will be very hard pressed to find another Blazer this age which requires minimal work to be one of the finest out there. If you are interested, and have any doubts, concerns, or questions, please feel free to e-mail, or call me. I have a "Magic Jack" phone which throws people off. Please listen to greeting, then leave message if I do not answer. I sleep various hours, but will return your call. The Blazer is located in Idaho, 5 mins away from the Washington State border. The nearest shipping hub is Spokane WA. I have helped others ship 2 other vehicles, so please ask if you wish to save some money on shipping costs. I "may" be able to drive it to Spokane for you to save on shipping expenses. Clean, clear Idaho Title in hand. Sold "As-Is.....Where-Is". Shipping is buyers responsibility. Seller reserves the right to end listing at any time. I have listed this Blazer as detailed, and as honestly possible as I can. I will consider any FAIR offer I receive............. but let's both be reasonable, and fair. I will not accept any offers from anyone with a zero next to their Username. Please contact me first. $1,000.00 deposit due within 48 hrs. of sale. I will only accept a Certified Cashier's Check, or CASH is hand. Vehicle will not leave my garage until I receive payment.
