You are bidding on a one of a kind 1964 Triumph TR4. This is a 2-door roadster equipped with a 2138 cc 4-cylinder. 4-speed manual transmission w/overdrive. It comes with the hard top kit, and the Surrey Top. Fixed rear window(backlight), detachable aluminum center panel, which research tells me, only came on the first 500 units. This was the first such roof system on a production car, preceding the Porsche 911 Targa by 5 years. Many new parts on the car including:Radial tires and wheels. Lenses for taillights, running lights, and turn signal lights. Rear window. Windshield. Carpet. Stainless steel body moldings.Dash pad. Used walnut dashboard. Door, trunk, window seals. Speedometer. Shift boot. Dash knobs. Front and rear letter set. Fiberglass transmission tunnel cover and more. This is not a frame-up restoration. The only thing I have had done to the motor is to have the carbs rebuilt and tuned. Basic tune-up. The car runs very well. It loves cruising down the highway but especially likes the corners. Seats are not original. The old ones were just too far gone, and at the time I didn't know what I had so they are somewhere in the landfill. New seats are going to run about 1800.00. Wipers work real well. All lights and blinkers work. Shifts through all of the gears real well. I do notice a puff of smoke when she shifts between gears. This has been my wife's little roadster because I am just too big for it. This year she only put 27 miles on the car so it really needs to find a home where it will get driven. This car is not immaculate and really needs restored frame-up to be perfect. It is, however, a very nice car. Not many like it here. Definitely a one of a kind
