This Speedster has the right "Period Correct Look" built with the best parts available, no expense spared with no corners cut here! It starts, stops, and drives extremely well, with tons of power. It has a fully rebuilt original Ford 3.3 liter L head 4 cylinder with low miles motor mated to a rebuilt original top loader 3 speed manual transmission. Gear selection is made with a tall bent shifter and glass door knob shifter. Rebuilt Zenith Carburetor and Cleaned Model T tank with new lines and filters. All new 12V Cloth wiring harness with 60 amp alternator. New starter, coil and solenoid with push button ignition. Torpedo exhaust that exits the rear through the pea shooter pipe, Sound awesome! Fresh radiator cleaned with fresh fluids keeps this Hot Banger running Cool. The all Steel body is straight and solid overall (see Pics). Shot in Bugatti Blue for that “Classic Racer look”.. Working Boot and suicide doors that open and shut well. Original 31 Ford Grill and custom one piece flip hood flows seamlessly with the body lines. This Speedster has functioning Brooklands (Aero Screen) style windshields, wich make this racer street legal. The Doors and Porthole side covers are removable and give you different racing options depending on weather conditions and desired look. The interior is done in Black Pleated Naugahide, very comfortable (see pics). Black loop carpet and floor Mats over the all wood custom built floor. The Model A steering wheel mated to a original column has functioning throttle, timing and headlight controls. A assortment of Stewart Warner and Smith Gauges, fills the dash with the vitals. The original 1931 headlights and Buick tail light function and work. A complete stock Ford chassis running transverse leafs front and rear. Banjo rear end with all rebuilt Mechanical Drum Brakes. Up front we have a I-Beam Front Axel, lubbed tie rods and ends. 5. 50 15" Excelsior Competition tires in the front, Englebert Racing tires in the rear on Powder Coated 48 Ford Green Gennies. New 12V battery concealed under the custom floor. This Vintage styled Racer has many new and upgraded parts, Lots of accessories and custom pieces. . Just spent $1800 on a complete tune up, fuel system cleaning, 12 volt conversion, and other general work to get it running in top shape. And to fire right up on first try. Lots of new parts and all work professionally done. I have thousands of dollars in receipts of work done to the car as well as receipts from previous owner, including engine and trans rebuild.
