Thank you for looking. For sale is a solid running (and good looking) convertible Jaguar XK8. This car drives amazing, just rode in it this past weekend. These are great cars, and given the limited number of these, finding them in this good condition is getting increasingly rare. Engine recently serviced by ASE certified mechanic. No mechanical issues, transmission strong, pleasant to drive. Paint looks good but is not perfect given its age, some clearcoat is weathered (see close-ups) but overall looks sharp and paint shines nicely. Please note the following: - Vehicle runs well (engine and transmission). - Suspension is good and tight (mechanical). - Transmission is strong. - Climate control is fully working (A/C is cold, heat working). - Interior is clean, above average for age. - Clear coat is weathered in some areas like hood and door windows (see close-up pics). - Could not find any frame damage as declared by auction (please see more detail below). Vehicle Condition: Outstanding - Exceptional mechanical, exterior and interior condition; requires no reconditioning. Clean - Some normal wear but no major mechanical or cosmetic problems; may require limited reconditioning. Average - May have a few mechanical and/or cosmetic problems and may require a considerable amount of reconditioning Rough - Several mechanical and/or cosmetic problems requiring significant repairs. Damaged - Major mechanical and/or body damage that may render it in non-safe running condition. Although the vehicle is being sold AS-IS, should the winning bidder have any concerns, the Buyer may elect to have the vehicle independently inspected (at Buyer’s expense) within 5 business days of receipt of deposit. Following the independent inspection, if frame damage is found to exist, we will agree refund the downpayment ($500) in full.
