Selling my dads truck from him. He's the second owner he purchased it from the original owner (his friend) around 1997. Since then he has put about 5,000 miles on it. Not sure if its rare or not being an XL model with power windows, locks, cruise, tilt wheel and cloth seat. I thought that was unusual. As you can tell from the pictures the interior is perfect. Its really amazing how nice it is. The seat cover is "Members Only" that'll tell you how long its been on there and its in perfect shape. The truck had been sitting for a while when we decided to get it running again about two years ago. The fuel had gone bad so we had to replaced front and rear tanks along with new sending units in both tanks. The fuel pump and carburetor were also replaced and rebuilt. Has a new battery, starter and solenoid. All total about $2200.00 in repairs. I put a set of used tires on it recently. I have the original steel wheels/tires and Ford hub caps that go with it. Also available is a camper top...its old so if you want it or don't...no problem either way. Having the camper top on it kept the bed in near perfect condition. This truck has no rust on the body underneath. There is a little rust spot on the drivers side rain guard. The paint is in pretty good shape for the age. 5.8 H.O. runs and drives great. Its nice and quiet running. Power windows work but the windows are not set in the tracks so when you roll the window down it doesn't go down unless you help it. Cruise control works, fuel tank selector works, clock, radio, dome light, engine bay light all work. Tilt wheel operate great. A/c needs to be charged. It idles a little high, I turned it up a little maybe to 1000-1200 rpms. Below that it tends to stall out when at an idle after about 30 seconds. I figure its a carb issue. Trans shifts very smooth but not too smooth its just right. Doesn't clank when putting it into drive or to reverse...I hate that noise and this truck is pretty tight. The steering feels loose to me. I'm sure new tie rod ends and ball joints would do wonders maybe even a set of shocks. I can see only minor amount of oil under the engine.
