Suzuki started racer replica wars in Japanese market.They introduced RG250Gamma in 1983.It has first mass production aluminium frame with full fairings.Until then, Japanese government didn't give the permission for the fairingson the motorcycle.So the other makers says it is meter visor or headlight protection.Anyway, it became very popular, so Honda and Yamaha followed.Honda sold NS250F and R in 1985, Yamaha sold TZR250 in 1987.at that time, TZR beats NSR250R and RG250 Gamma.Honda released NSR250R in 1987 to replace NS250R but couldn't beat TZR.Finally, Honda released new NSR250R in 1988 that is the best racer replica for next decade.Suzuki also update their racer replica every year to beat TZR and NSR.In 1988 Suzuki introduced RGV250 Gamma that has v twin instead of parallel twin.At these era, every makers released faster and better.Yamaha made TZR front carburetors rear chamber in 1989.Honda made NSR250R's swing arm stiffer and computer controlled carbretors.Suzuki gave new dimention to RGV250. This RGV250 Gamma has SP model rear suspension that is adjustable.It should have bigger carbletors but I forgot to check when cleaned carbs. Had steering damper but cannot find.Cannot open gas tank because it stuck.I broke original key when tried to open gas tank.I have two spare keys.put new battery.Runs fine with gas from ivy tank.Japanese title only.I can get US title for $700.No warranty as is.
