Hello motorcycle enthusiast! Here is one of my two stroke collection of JDM racer replica NS400R.At that time, Honda and Yamaha had war in between. Every week, they introduced new motorcycles to the Japanese market from scooter to Super sport.In 1985, Yamaha introduced RZV500R (RD500LC) as replica of TZ500 rode by Kenny Roberts, then Honda released NS400R as of NSR500 by Freddy Spencer.400cc limitation was based on Japanese license restriction.Only Suzuki introduced both RG500Gamma and RG400Gamma for Barry Sheene or Kevin Schwants. This one sat 7 years in my garage at Torrance, CA. I cleaned 3 carbs and put new battery, then it runs again.Needs fuel petcock and rear brake overhaul and both tires to back on the road. My friend who has 7 NS400R says you can use fuel petcock for CBR with little modification )I can provide dry clutch kit and 500cc kit for extra$$! (kind of expensive.)Have Japanese title only. (MC17 is CBR250R) Here are the answers that i have received.1-Does everything electrical work correctly?Yes, head light HiLow, turn signals, brake light all works.2- Does the speedo & tach work correctly?Yes, but they are km/h not mile/hour.3- What is the condition inside of the gas tank?Has some rust but not bad.4- On the petcock needing replacement - What year & model CBR petcockwill work with some "modification"?MC22 CBR250RR 1990-2000. You need to cut or shave where the lever attached.Parts# 16950-KAZ-000 (Japanese parts number. I can order it for you).5- On the rear brake - what is the issue needing repair?I have not touched rear brake. So you should need master cylinder OH kit and caliper OH kit.6- Has the bike ever been down on either side at speed or otherwise?No, but has some rush damage made while ship it from Japan.7- Is there any damage to any of the fairing pieces?I don't think so but it's 30 year old, so don't expect perfect.8- Is there any damage to any other parts on the bike?No damage from falling but some damage from being sit like rust or surface oxidization.9- If you have a Japan title - why would it not come with the bike?I don't need it but shipping company never send it to me. So I have to ask them.I'll provide a bill of sale.10- Does the bike have the tool kit, manual, 2 sets of keys?One factory key works for main switch and gas tank and seat lock and helmet holder.
