Vehicle Detail

Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE Do you remember the 1990 300ZX Twin Turbo commercial illustrating one man’s dream of being chased by a black superbike, a F1 Racecar and ultimately a fighter jet all of which can’t catch him in the dream? Well if your 43 like me and looking at this add you would have wanted one of these as a young adult as I wanted one since they were new on the floor. Presented here is my 1990 Nissan 300zx Twin Turbo – with the most notable color glacier pearl white with the black and grey tweed interior in mint condition. This car is in collector condition and truly a “Time Capsule”. The outside paint is gleaming with no dents, fade and only minor chips from the easy 18,000 original miles it has been driven. The interior in its soft dark grey cloth interior make the sitting experience comfortable and quite. Since the car has always been garaged there are no signs of sun damage on any trim, bezels or fabric. The window and T-Top seals are fresh and leak free. Everything on this car works as perfect as the day she was rolled off the barge in Benicia CA, back in 1989. She ultimately found a great home in Palm Springs (yes dry desert, no rust) after being first sold at Dublin Nissan in Northern CA. The original owner used her for driving to and from the county club while staying in Palm Springs and was only used a few months out of each year, which keep the miles low while keeping the vehicle in use so the seals are good, no leaks. I have since replaced the front tension rod bushings and master cylinder both notoriously bad for Z32 models. The exhaust system and battery were replaced last year with a new OEM parts do to age. The engine and transmission work perfectly as they should for such low miles and the tires were replaced due to age. The brakes are original and in excellent condition and the automatic climate control works perfect, hot or cold. The Bose stereo works; however it does appear do to age the capacitors in 4-5 speakers have met their demise, center unit and antenna work fine. There are companies that refurbish these systems I just have not gotten to it yet; the radio works fine, I was going to just upgrade the head unit which may solved the speaker issue, just not sure. Well as life marches on I have had a shift in my profession now requiring me to be on the road for extended periods of time and I can’t bear to take a beautiful vintage Japanese GT road car and turn it into a Prius, that’s not what she was built for. There are so many Z’s on the market in all kinds of conditions and price and I don’t want to ruin this one by racking up 100's of miles per month I rather see it go to someone who will enjoy it and treat it more like an investment; yes Z32’s are continuing going up in price in similar condition and I don’t have the means or room for both. Open the door, slide into the driver's seat and find yourself immersed in a cockpit of engineering, innovation, and class ahead of its time. Ahead are the prominent, easy to read analog gauges that provide the driver with instant feedback as the accelerator is pressed, the boost spools-up and the car roars off the line. Framing the gauges are all of the secondary controls at the driver's fingertips -- cruise control, climate control, and lighting to name a few. Swooping down to the center console, a short-throw 5-speed shifter is neighbored by the optional electronic suspension system... flip to 'cruise' for a Sunday stroll, or to 'sport' for a more menacing agility. Flip off the T-Tops for a true fun-in-the-sun experience. Underneath it all is Nissan's innovative Super HICAS 4-Wheel Steering System -- engineered to gently angle the rear wheels during hard cornering to keep you on track. Please reach out with any questions -- and I welcome the chance to arrange any viewings and inspections. I prefer an in person sale; however I would be happy to work with any automotive transpiration service you select to get the vehicle to you safely and in the condition it left my garage. I have all the original paperwork and service records, as well as the clean CA title. I also have confirmation from Nissan Motors of America that all recall work was completed in 1995.See a video of the car and engine running in link below Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE MicrosoftInternetExplorer4
