1996 Ford Econoline E150 CAMPER/CARGO Van- 240k miles, automatic STRAIGHT 6 transmission, manual windows, AM/FM radio, white solid bodied (no side windows from front doors till rear doors) slider door style cargo van that was converted to a family/camper van. Full size spare tire, size 235, 75, 15. The engine is a tank and needs a few things to be long distance road worthy. It has an exhaust leak, and the fuse for the cigarette lighter needs to be replaced in order for the computer to recognize a full safety compression test pass- in other words, you have to fix these two things in order for it to pass smog. We replaced the fuse at the mechanics' office just before they administered the smog test in order to have it pass, but there is a short in the wiring that makes is blow again shortly after. (That was when we registered it in 2011) Also, we just replaced the steering column and the left blinker wasn't rewired all the way so it blinks faster (like it is going out) but this could be fixed by reconnecting the wire properly. CUSTOM: Full/Double size bed, raised to have storage below. From back doors, on right side is shallow recess where we had rubbermade dual stacked drawers to hold tools and hobby items. On left side a large recess that could continue past the cabinets into the main area for possible lumber hauling, etc. Storage also available on outer sides for extra mechanical items like tire chains, engine fluids and parts, etc. Main are storage includes a large pull out drawer that makes up 1/2 of couch/seat, clothing closet and pantry cubbies. Loveseat sized couch/seat just below bed with additional flat seat/shelf area at one end. This is an ideal van for camping and hauling as mattress can be removed to used as shelf. We bought this van in Colorado in 2011 and drove her to California and she's a tank!
