Vehicle imported to Virginia from sunny California almost 2 years ago. Has undergone extensive maintenance, repairs and restorative work. I'm a fussy Dad who wanted to make sure it was a safe driver for a daughter in love with this green bug. She's now at college and the bug needs a good home. So here is the run-down of work completed on the car: NEW Battery! Starts right up on the coldest morning.Electronic ignition!New Carb with electronic choke - custom jetting!Rebuilt seat adjusters! The handle on the driver's side needs replaced, but the mechanisms all were repaired beneath the seats.All NEW brake cylinders! All brake fluid flushed at same time and replaced in December 2014. Rebuilt driver's side heater duct work!New shifter bushings!New horn!New windshield washer reservoir!Seat belts! Yes, 4 seat belts, 2 front and 2 rear!New driver's side mirror! The car also comes with a snug as a BUG in a rug car cover. Good rubber on the tires all around. Further, just passed VA safety inspection, so the car has been checked through as well. Buyer will be required to place a $500 deposit within 72 hours of the auction close (I accept PayPal for your convenience). The car is cute and attracts attention ALL THE TIME! It purrs... a sweet running 1300 engine under the rear hood! It is a nearly 50 year old car, so it also is full of character.
