This auction is for a very rare Sunbeam S7. This is the more collectable of the S7 & S8's and there are estimated to be only a few hundred still surviving. This is a great opportunity to own a living piece of motorcycle history. I have owned this for a few years and have continued to collect parts new & used to get the bike together- it is about 90% complete. I simply have too many projects and would like to see this go to someone who will finish it a get it back on the road where it belongs. Numbers matching frame/motor/trans. Comes with an extra S8 engine that I was going to use the later & better timing tensioner, oil pump, sump and deeper pan(common upgrades for the earlier machines) Nice cylinder head has been bead blasted, block has been bead blasted and cylinders honed for standard pistons and rings(included). Comes with an extra camshaft that is in excellent condition, NOS timing chain and gasket set. Numbers matching trans has been hot-tanked inside and out- Internals are in great shape- also comes with extra gears, forks and main-shafts (see pics) Includes the very hard to find Lucas distributor. Included is more bolts and bracketry that is not pictured Bike itself has brand new Firestone Repop tires from Coker tire and the wheels have been glass-beaded and painted.
