425HP LS2 Corvette powered Jeep Wrangler TJ. This is an outrageously fun jeep for someone that has the funds to spend on an awesome toy. I doubt this will ever be duplicated.This is not your normal quick conversion, to start off with it has a 2006 LS2 aluminum block Corvette engine with only 1400 miles on it. I spent 8 years building with my son trying to pass on some mechanical skills to him. Countless hours and an enormous amount detail went into this jeep. First off, I am an mechanical engineer with a space program past and in my youth built jeeps while working for Novak Adapters, who still makes some of the finest jeep conversion parts in the market. This jeep was done right. There are not many aluminum block LS2 6.0l conversions out there, it’s not easy to do and requires skill to do it right. If you look at the pictures of the engine, you will notice that this wrangler has air conditioning, a difficult feat with LS conversions, all the plumbing is custom and is a work of art. The stock corvette wire harness was integrated into the jeeps original fuse and relay box and all old unused wiring was eliminated. Instead of the standard fan relay most people use, we integrated the variable speed pulse width modulator that the corvette used so we could program all activity of the fan in the ECM (electronic control module). The ECM is fully programmable every aspect of performance from the drive by wire throttle opening speed. to shift rpm and speed can be programmed by the owner. We tried several gear combinations in this and finally decided on 3.73 as it made it the most drivable and maintained decent gas milage.This jeep is a blast to drive and will get your adrenalin going if you want it too. The vehicle has 1400 miles (as of today) since the total rebuild and 46 hours running time. Paint is original, tinted window soft top is new and the body has no rust. I think it would take way north of $50K to duplicate this jeep. Having a GM engine, ECM, TCM and transmission means that any chevrolet dealer can service this drivetrain. I would not be selling if my economic situation was a bit different, as this jeep was a labor of love.Here is a rundown on what was done: Engine: 2006 Corvette Aluminum 6.0 LS2 a new high torque comp cam was installed raising horsepower to about 425. Novak engine mounts and adapters were used.Transmission: 4 speed overdrive 4L65e electronic automatic transmission that was a new Cadillac Escalade take out. Transmission was modified with B&M transgo shift kit, Art Carr high performance locking torque converter and B&M mega shifter. Novak transmission transfer case adapter.Rear End: Ford 8.8 with extreme gusset kit and Detroit Truetrac Locker with 3.73 Motive gears, girdle cover, new bearings and seals.Front End: Dana 30 with 3.73 Motive gears new bearings and seals.Transfer Case NP231 with Tera Flex Slip Yoke eliminator, new bearings, drive chain and seals. Novak cable shifter.Front and Rear, Tom Woods chrome molly custom lifetime warranty driveshafts.Power, 4 wheel disk brakes, new calipers, brake lines, drilled and slotted rotors, ceramic brake pads.5 New Goodyear Wrangler Duratrack tires on American Racing Outlaw wheel, billet acorn nuts.Rubicon Express 3.5" TJ Superflex Lift Kit, front sway bar disconnect kit.Dakota Digital, customizable electronic dashboard.Braided fuel lines with high pressure in tank fuel pump. Polyurethane sway bar bushing, adjustable rear track bar.New steering box and power steering pump.New custom high performance radiator, custom Lincoln Mark VIII radiator fan with PWM variable speed module driving fan.Functioning pontiac grand prix hood vents, there's a guy who did a whole study on these on the web.Vintage Hella H4 headlights, just great.New windshield glass.Black Powder painted center and rear skid plates.New Dyna Flow aluminized dual exhaust; ceramic coated.Interior has been coated with monsatliner bedliner, no carpet and there was never any rust. OEM deep groove rubber mats.Pioneer head unit with USB input and Precision power amp. I am sure there are things I am forgetting but you can get the idea that this jeep is mechanically new. Paint has some battle scars but it still looks stunning and I hope you can tell I think highly of it the workmanship.Question please ask?
