Hi all, This is a 1988 Ford Thunderbird Turbocoup that's been in the family since August 1998. The car is currently registered but not inspected. All four keys are included. The center "Snowflake" wheel inserts are not shown but will be included. Starting from the ground up, the tires are used and I recommend replacing them. It has 4 "Snowflake" alloys wheels, the brake pads and rotors are decent as well as the calipers. New brake hoses. It needs a new center brake line. Adapter parts are included for the center brakeline. Suspension has new quadrashocks and the automatic suspension feature is fully functioning. Front suspension has new ball joints and new tire rod ends. The front driver strut tower has some rust and can be repaired and a donor strut tower replacement that I purchased is included with the car to complete the repair. The parking brake is fully functional. Exhaust is redone with a new catalytic converter. The T5 transmission is fully functional and the rear limited slip differential are fully functional and in great working condition. The clutch has been rebuilt professionally with high quality components. The 2.3 turbo engine is in great working condition. All sensors and injectors have recently been replaced, including the mass airflow meter. The turbo is in great working condition and is putting out 15lbs of boost. The fluids are in decent condition except for the brakes and power steering fluid. Needs power steering pump, however new steering hoses are included. There are zero oil or coolant leaks. Newer radiator. Recently replaced fuel pump and fuel filter. Water pump was replaced at Ford dealer at 100K. Timing belt and timing belt tensioner were replaced very recently along with a rebuilt distributor. The distributor is correctly timed at 10 degrees BTDC. All computers are functional. Newer battery, rebuilt alternator, new pos and neg battery cables. Car starts and runs of course. Idles correctly at 950 RPM and will pass emissions. Headlight capsules were recently replaced. Front clip is intact. Interior is in good condition. Power driver seat is functional and seats are in B+ condition. Needs new headliner. Rear defroster works. Car has heat but no A/C. It has a new evaporator core and a new heater core but needs compressor/condenser/dryer and other basic parts replaced. The evap and heater core are new and are harder to replace so that's already done. Needs body work and paint. Basically, the car is in sound condition but I do not have the ability or desire to do the body work. This will be a great car for either someone who has the ability to do the body work or someone who wants to part out the drivetrain/etc. Feel free to ask any questions and thanks for checking out this auction.
