Vehicle Detail

This car is a numbered car as shown on the tag located on the firewall and one on the interior. For information on the Shinoda go to http://www.teamshinoda.com/ . I am the second owner of the car. I was told by the original owner that the car was purchased new as a GT mustang. A couple years after the purchase it was taken in and the Shinoda Boss conversion package was added. At that time is was lowered, trim package added including the front hood, custom spoiler, stage 1 installed and graphics applied. This owner showed the car for several years and took very good care of it. I bought the car for a father and son project 5 years ago. They had overheated the car and cracked the heads. I figured the engine toast and purchased the car. At that time it had 110K miles on the old engine. I had another GT engine installed that had only 70K miles on it. At that time we put in a fresh clutch and pressure plate assembly. We then re-build the rear differential since it had a slight growl. A year later all of the graphics were stripped and the car was completely repainted with a polyurethane enamel paint matching the original paint number. The car was wet sanded, all new graphics applied and buffed. In the last few years my son added a set of 10.5x17 wheels in the back and 9x17 wheels in the front. Front tires have 95% tread and back tires have 75% of the tread left. Exhaust has been removed and replace with BBK off road short x pipe with Magnaflow mufflers. He has also added a SCT performance tuner, and new Kenwood stereo system. Now for the defects... There is a crack in one of the wheel center caps. The electric window switch is out on the drivers side that controls the passenger window. The passenger window switch is still operating. The Check engine light stays on. We just had the car in for a new fuel pump and new spark plugs. The mechanic stated this was due to the exhaust sensors that were now missing. There may be a way to over ride this, I am not sure. With the lowered suspension it tends to hit hard on large bumps. There light stress cracks in the fiberglass spoiler. The shroud that attaches just over the radiator is missing. In short this car is a real head turner. It is not super fast but a lot of fun to drive. It runs and sounds great, getting up to 24 MPG. The car comes with a banner they used at the car shows and also a signed drawing by Larry Shinoda. I have tried to describe this car the best that I can so please ask any questions and I will try to answer.
