I have owned this CRX for about 5 years and it has been very reliable. I have done a lot of maintenance to simply keep it running and use it as a commuter car. It needs another round of maintenance but I figured I'd take that opportunity to pass it on to next person looking for a great project car that is a blast to drive, economic, and enjoyable to work on. The car doesn't need much. It would greatly benefit from new tires and new engine mounts. Other than that it runs and drives with no problem. The car is essentially rust free but there were some small areas that needed some repair such as over the rear passenger side. you can see the primer in the picture. I also hade to repair the rear wheel wells a little bit. The following is a list of facts: -The cooling side of the air conditioning doesn't work but the heating works good. There is no refrigerant in the system and I believe the condenser needs to be replaced. -The fuel gage is intermittent. -The reverse lights need a new switch at the transmission. -I installed a new started, alternator, and battery cables. -I installed a new valve cover gasket and oil pan gasket. -I replaced the oxygen sensor. -The brakes and clutch are relatively new and work great. -The car would benefit from new suspension bushings and struts. -I replaced the front and rear bumper reinforcements. The rear notoriously rusts so the one I installed is painted with por15. The front was bent by previous owner by hitting a deer. -The engine runs great and has plenty of power but is showing signs of its age. It doesn't smoke or leak oil but I have to put some in every once in a while. Probably going to need a new timing belt soon too. -The sound system sounds fantastic and was installed by me. -The sun roof works great and does not leak. -The back hatch does leak a little and would benefits from new weather strip and gas springs. The rear defrost has only one or two bars that still work. -The exhaust is new but still on the loud side. I kind of like it. Nice growl to it. Generally the car is rough in appearance inside and out but mechanical sound.
