Vehicle Detail
1969 Dodge W300 Power Wagon. This truck was purchased by a Kansas Fire Department in 1969. It has been housed in a covered structure from the day it was new. The 13,7XX miles are original as well as all original sheet metal, paint, and drive train. This is backed and certified with a letter from the Fire Chief. This still has the original dealer sticker on each side of the Truck. The motor is a 318 V8. The gears are 488 Dana 70 axles. The Transfer Case is a New Process 435. There is a working PTO attached but it currently is not hooked up to anything. This truck is incredibly original as can be. There is no rust found anywhere throughout the body or frame. It still has the "chalk" marks from the assembly line under the hood and inside the engine compartment. It was only used in the summer as it had a skid mount pump and tank in the bed. The bed is 9' long. Fortunately they saved and stored the original rear tail gate which is obvious by the condition of it. . The rims are 16" x 8" and it has new 315 75R 16 (12" x 35") BF Goodrich Mud Terrains. Locking hubs on the front axle. The truck is in great condition, but it's not a show truck, other than that of a survivor. There is a small crack in the sheet metal of the right rear fender, and the hood has a little damage on the top of it, but it's not bad at all. This is an incredible example of a very original, very well preserved Dodge Power Wagon! You can't drive this anywhere absent people giving you a thumbs up, or waiting for you as you enter your local Home Depot to ask about the Truck.
