1984 HONDA ATC 70 For sale: A 1984 Honda ATC 70. The ATC runs great and is in good condition. There are no problems and the ATC is ready for a new rider. Condition: I purchased the machine in great stock condition several years ago. It was seldom ever ridden and has spent it's time with me tucked away in the barn. I'm selling my house with storage space so I need to thin the collection. I recently went thru the machine and it is now in perfect running condition. The stock tank was cosmetically good but had a little rust inside and a tiny pin hole leak along the lower left seam. If you are familiar with these ATC's it is common for leaks to develop in that location. I replaced the tank with a new aftermarket plastic tank. I added factory graphics to the tank and I think it looks great. I purchased a new Keihin carb kit and set out rebuilding the old carb. This kit included a new float bowl, float assembly and petcock along with all new seals and jets. I've worked out the final settings and it's running great. I believe the front tire is aftermarket while the rears were OEM as the machine has very low hours. The rears were cracking and wouldn't hold air very long which was disappointing because they had great tread left. I purchased 3 new tires for the ATC and placed two of them on the rear. The stickers and mold marks are still present. I held off on changing the front as it is in great shape. I will include the new front tire. All of the plastic appears to be factory original. The plastic is still flexible and is not brittle. The front fork is straight. I noticed a couple of marks from the fender hitting the cylinder head bolts, however, it doesn't come close. My best guess is that the fender came from another machine or the fork was replaced at some time. The rear fenders have scuffs and scratches but there are no cracks in any of the fenders. The rear graphics are still there but are not in great shape. Overall the machine is a nice example of a great runner. Not a museum piece but it has plenty of life left in it. I've used OEM parts only except for the tires as they are no longer available. Shipping: I think it would be cost prohibitive to ship a machine this inexpensive. I live about 5 miles north of Coldwater Michigan 49036. Pick-up is the responsibility of the buyer. I would be willing to transport the machine a reasonable distance if the buyer covers fuel.
