This is sort of an experiment, all my buddies got their "hunting, camping, fishing, wheeling rigs, wood trucks, etc" from me. They've convinced me that others want to buy cheap 4x4 trade ins too. Please have realistic expectations, this is a very good rig, it runs and drives great, but it is 16 yrs old and has 215K miles. The Story: I recently delivered a late model truck to a new car store up north. I didn't have anything there coming back so I searched the "back row trade ins" for something I could buy and drive home. I avoided the obvious junkers and found this Tahoe, I'm a big fan of GM SUVs, they're reliable and run forever. After having sat for almost 3 months, the dust covered green machine started right up, no smoke or clatter, sounded great, so I rolled the dice and headed south. Late that night, as I crossed Red Mountain in a snow storm (google it, super scary high mountain pass) I was grateful for the old Tahoe; ran great, toasty heat, cruise control and heated leather seats. I made it home to my family with some pretty deep respect for this old girl. I would call my trip back a very rigorous 150+ mile test drive over some steep, curvy, high altitude, mountain roads. This SUV would be a great daily driver, 2nd car, winter car, deer lease, cabin rig, camp, hunt, fish, etc. The Good Stuff: Super clean heated leather interior, fresh professional interior detail, steam cleaned, carpet is excellent, non smoker, my mechanic has checked it out, fresh oil/filter change, checked all fluids, filters, brake pads are 50% or better etc. and replaced a gasket between the cat and the muffler to get rid of a minor exhaust leak. Has a strong running 5.7 V8, studded winter tires on alloy wheels, roof rack, power everything, tow package, electric trailer brakes, pretty much everything works as it should, seems like a good old SUV. Make me a reasonable offer and you will own this Tahoe!!!! The Not So Good Stuff:There is gravel chipping under the fenders and rocker rails, also some scratches, scuffs, dings etc. on body (see photos) The hood has small scratches and dried pine sap spots, it scrapes right off (see photos) There are a couple cracks on the side of the driver's seat (see photos) There are a couple of small chips in the windshield There is a small ding on the driver rear quarter panel by the bumper (see photos)Please call me with questions or offers.
