2001 ford windstar minivan 165,000 miles 3.8 v6 automatic with overdrive. engine runs great .. this van has 2 problems first the brakes needs replaced they are worn. and the torque converter clutch pressure solenoid needs replaced. its a 80 dollar part plus labor. every time you put the van into reverse or drive the engine dies. so I had the van towed to the mechanic shop and they tested it and told me the solenoid is causing the problem and the brakes would not pass Missouri inspection so I just let the van sit because I have 2 cars and a truck I do not need this van at all so if your willing to spend about 5 hundred to get the van on the road again here you go. 2 years ago I had the transmission rebuilt cost 2 grand all together with labor. rebuilt transmission has about 4,000 miles on it. van has 4 new goodyear tires and several other repairs were also done. van needs a car wash and the inside cleaned. you will have to tow or trailer the van home. have a clear Missouri title ready to go. any ? ask I will answer them I don't lie or play games. no reserve the van needs to be sold.
