This is a very fine example of a original 1951 Tin Woody. We have owned a lot of these early Chevy's and this one is as rust free as we have seen. The floors, inner and outer rockers are free of any rust at all. there is still original primer on the bottom of the floor and rockers. The floor braces are very clean as well. The tail gate and jam is free of rust. There is somebody work in the tail gate area and below it. There is one spot on the right rear quarter area behind the rear tire. someone had used some spray foam along the way to plug the hole. There is original wood in the cargo area floor. All of the wood window moldings are on the car. Appears the original wood door panels and trim are here. The front seat is complete with the original seat cover still there, of coarse it is ripped and needs rebuilt. The dash is in incredible shape. The gauges all work, the radio works, the speedometer works. The body is in very nice shape. All of the doors operate nice. all of the door checks are in place. All of the latches work great. All of the windows work nice. The tail gate window stops work, the gate latches work as well. The body has normal dents and dings. There has been one repaint along the way. All of the stainless trim is on the car and has normal dents and dings as well. The front clip is as nice as the rest of the car. The pictures tell the story. Drivetrain- The engine has been rebuilt as some point. It has a rebuilders tag on it. The carb has been rebuilt, oil changed, valves adjusted, new spark plugs. The transmission linkage has been adjusted and the clutch adjusted. The transmission works, seems to need a 2nd gear synchro. The brakes are adjusted and stops nice and straight. The wheels have been blasted and painted with Bias wide whites mounted on them.
