Vehicle Detail
2000 F-150 for sale, with great engine and transmission, runs and drives perfect. It has 209,000 miles, but it has been well taken care of and like I said it runs great. It just passed an E-check on 10/31 so that won't be an issue. It does not have a check engine light on, there are no misses or unusual engine noises, or any leaks. Transmission works well, automatic, shifts like it should and no slipping. Had a tune up done about 4 months ago with all new spark plugs and had 2 of the coil packs replaced. Battery is about a year and a half old, from AAA. Also had the fuel tank straps replaced about a year ago, which was a recall. It has a cap, back window and one side window were replaced with plexiglass but it is all enclosed. The latch/handle and lift supports are no longer there, but it works great for storing things or moving things and you don't have to worry about the weather. It is a standard cab, long bed, and has the stock radio, as well as a factory class 3 hitch, not just the bumper ball. The heat works great, and so does the A/C. It has the Ford Triton 5.4L V8 engine which is very strong, and it is a 7700 so it can haul and carry more weight the standard F-150's (I think they are usually 6600 lb.), and has heavier duty breaks because of the weight class. It has never been in an accident, and I am the second owner. I used to work for the first owner, who had all the work done by Ford, and I have gotten the oil changes for the last 2 years from Ford/Lincoln dealer with all Motorcraft oil and filters. Minor issues: It has the usual rust of an Ohio truck, and a couple paint scuffs on the body and a few small dents (one small one in the front bumper- barely noticeable, and a bit larger one in the the tail gate). Overdrive button has never worked as long as I've had it, but have never needed it with theV8! There is an ABS light on, but it did not throw up any codes when I had it scanned at Autozone, and it brakes fine and does not leak fluid so I haven't done anything about it. Windshield is cracked, but does not block view for driving. The bed is rusted around the wheel wells, and you can see through, one side is worse than the other, could be fixed is you know a welder, or just let it be- overall the bed is fine. I put 3 youtube links which below that show all the details of the truck: Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE MicrosoftInternetExplorer4 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kNwXO80wMp8 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lFqKdKdqTUE https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lwoliWWDt8c Great work truck, first car, or daily driver. I loved this truck and used it for my everyday car and for when I used to do landscaping, but no longer need it because I have an office job. Email me with questions or if you want to take a look at it. Thanks, Paul
