Please do not bid on this unless you plan on following through with the transaction. 1964 Buick Special Convertible. 6 cylinder with automatic transmission. Engine runs, transmission works, but car has no brakes. No heater core. Appears to have one repaint (original color). Has 96,xxx original miles. Needs top and floor pans. Couple of holes in trunk. There is no convertible sag, doors open and close very nicely. 3rd owner of car. Car is very solid with a couple of bad areas in the usual spots. Comes with a brand new gas tank. There is one bad area on frame on the right side in front of rear wheel ( see pic). This is an extremely rare one year only body style, and don't forget it is a convertible as well. I have all three original manuals along with both protect o plates. Sold with bill of sale only, the original owners could not find the registration. I can put you in touch with original owners. Please feel free to come an inspect car in person. On Nov-23-14 at 13:45:11 PST, seller added the following information: Just to clear up some confusion: there is a brand new gas tank that is not installed yet, it is still brand new in the box. I hook up a hose to gas can and thats how I start the motor. Car will have to be pushed on a trailer or winched on. Please feel free to ask more question or if needed more pictures. Thanks.
