Engine / Trans: This rare classic is equipped with a strong 289 Ford engine with 302 crank, 4V Edelbrock carb and automatic transmission. Drum brakes. MSD ignition. Everything is mechanically sound and functions as it should. Car generally starts on first turn of the key (may take two or three tries when real cold outside), idles and shifts through gears well. Dual Flowmaster exhaust has a nice deep rumble at idle and while racing down the road. The engine compartment, trunk area and undercarriage are clean and tidy with no rust as seen in photos. Exterior: The exterior is in great condition. Finished in midnight blue metallic paint, it shines like new and with black interior it’s quite a sought after color combination for 1965-66 Pony cars. The body is straight with no scratches, rust or structural issues. The emblems & badges, trim, glass and chrome are all in good shape. The Goodyear Eagle tires and 15” Cragar S/S 5-lug wheels are also very nice. This convertible is intended to be driven on nice days as it does not come with a top. A weatherproof car cover is included. Interior: The black pony interior is in good shape. Bucket seats, rear bench, door panels, dash, and carpet are all clean with good color and minor wear. A couple small split seams in front seat as seen. Blinkers, headlights, tail lights, trunk lock, door locks are all in working order. Gauges and radio (with remote) also work.
