Vehicle Detail

I am the ONLY owner. I drove the first mile. 101163 actual miles, engine runs perfect and has a fresh oil and filter change (the dealer recommended new spark plugs), No electrical problems. Good rubber (RF tire is new). Cooling, heating and air conditioning systems work reliably as new. Great bodywork (except the LR where I (slowly) backed into a parking pole, smashing the taillight and crunching the bodywork around it. I did a so-so repair (pic #11) and finished with etching primer, and bought sporty taillights. I never finished the job, as it still needs final putty and paint work and reassembly. Otherwise, everything (lighting, trunk lid) works perfect with no leaks.). NO ACCIDENTS! The passenger-side rubber roof seam blew off at sometime (pic #13). Interior has always been smoke-free and is in near new condition (Pics #5, 7, 6 & 8), except the back 3 inches of headliner where my young son tried to pull it down (pic #12) ). It could use a cleaning, mainly the rear seat bottom (Pic # 6). No fluid, lubricant, coolant or fuel leaks of any kind. All glass is perfect, except for two 3mm "spiders" on the passenger-side of the windshield. O2 sensor replaced at 65,000. The BAD: After celebrating 100K miles, the CVT began to make horrible sounds. The dealer quoted $4500. So at 101163, I bought a used CVT and paid a local shop $600 for installation only to find that it now only has reverse gear!! The original CVT is included (pic #10). The engine light is on because of a fuel-air mixture adjustment needed. It's been sitting for over a year and now the 144V battery is low, and the 6 year old 12V battery is dead. However, with a jump it starts, runs and the 144V battery begins charging! I have all the original keys (pic #15) and books (pic #14). You get the original CVT and taillights, a car cover in fair shape (Pic #10), a new air and cabin filter element, and a downloadable digital shop service manual. After 9 years of fun, this has been a 2 year nightmare. It drove smooth and quiet before the CVT dumped. Now, it has no forward gears. Very sad, but now we need it gone. I have no time to work on it anymore. Junking it seems cruel, and I would much rather an actual person do something positive with it. This is a low-mileage Hybrid in rebuildable condition. I have attempted to be as thorough as possible in representing the total history of this vehicle. Feel free to check-out my seller's feedback over the last 12 years and ask any questions. Thanks for looking!
